"HEAVEN...I [was] in HEAVEN!"

AHHHHHHHHH...mid eighties, slight ocean breeze and not a care in the world. This describes the last week I just spent in Caribbean bliss, on my first cruise. Thanks to the generous patronage of my esteemed and beloved patroness, Lady Sharon M. Doyle, we spent 7 glorious days out in the deep blue.
My fellow passenger, Erica Newby (and now reclaimed lost soul sister) and me gained an adult education in Jamaica, getting ripped off around every corner. The whole time, she was refered to as "Sexy Girl" from our local rip off hairstylist, and I was refered to as "virgin" from the local photo op woman. Needless, to say, we have since laughed long and hard about it since, and now call each other thus.
Our next stop was Grand Cayman Island. Let me just say now, this IS paradise. If you want to get away from it all, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. The historical pirate post of Tortuga may be its more familiar name to some of you; it's named after the huge Sea-turtle population there. Anyway, snow white beaches and blue waters, prompted us to order Pina colada's and plant on the beach. I'm already dreaming of going back.
Cozumel Mexico was interesting and we eventually found a nice beach with the BEST gosh-dang Mexican food I've had. The quac alone was the size of a small crab and delicious. We camped out on the beach and had custom palm hats made with palm leaf grasshoppers. And Erica and Karen continued their TWILIGHT obesession, pouring over the delicious details of Edward Cullen.
Other days at sea we got decked out like real ladies and showed the dining room what it is all about. I pigged out on lobster and Giant prawns, and ordered three desserts, which finally got our stoic waiter to laugh. *(GOod thing the red dress stretches!)
Sadly, it had to all come to an end. I can honestly say, those were some of the BEST spent days of my life. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable time, or spent that time in better company.
A HUGE thanks to my everything, Brent who was cheerful about letting me go and filled in as Super Mister MOM with the help of my wonderful and amazing mother-in-law. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
To my sweet soul sisters of the cruise, I love you baby! Thanks for the memories!
